Script Analysis Write Up

During last week while my group was writing the script, we were just writing down everything that we had in mind using our perspective on what would people say during an argument or a fight. Most of the time that all the script we came up with only makes sense when we read it right after we write them down, but after a day, when we go back and read it it does not make that much sense as we thought it might be. And this is one of the techniques to make sure that every line we wrote down can make sense in the play, just by saving the scripts and come back to read it again maybe after a day or two, to revise what we had wrote down. Another way that is kind of interesting for us to fix the script, is by actually acting it out. Because sometimes the script only make sense when it is being written down on the paper with no actual emotions in them. Devising Workshop

I can definitely see that these two people are professionals after the whole thing is done. I don't like the feeling when something or someone new is introduced to me, no matter what the circumstance might be, I just don't feel that I might enjoy or even would be willing to participate with the devising workshop. But what they do is they tried your best to let you open up yourself, not only body but also brings out your ability of acting. It is fascinating to see how everyone including me is actually enjoying themselves during any step of the workshop. What I love about Ben and Steve, is they encourage you to the best they could. Sometimes even if you do not have the correct answer or gives out answer that is irrelevant to the question. They would not judge you, they would acknowledge the information no matter how ridiculous that might sound, but I think that is really important during a theatre production. Jack fell in love with Algernon’s cousin Gwendolyn but his proposal was refused at the first time by her mother Lady Bracknell. Later on is the story between Algernon’s love with Jack’s ward Cecily. The conflict of the plot is when Algernon and Jack both uses the fake name “Earnest” and both ladies all fell in love with this name. Conflict breaks out when the ladies find out that their name isn’t Earnest but both couples were still in love with each other.
