Broken Walls

The art piece itself is dark based wooden plank that covered with mainly dark green or brown. There are also a little touch of bright colors such as blue, orange and green. Other than the wood, there is a piece of wood that sticks on the top of that. There is also a human-like figure that is made out of tin can pieces. Other than the wood that is sticking out the wooden canvas, a ballon with a shape of a heart that is outside of the wooden canvas is giving this piece more layers and making it structural abstract.

First Collab

Here are few notes that I wanted to keep track of and share with other people. First of all, I feel like the class has improved a lot on having useful conversations. During the time when me and my partners were brainstorming words about our stimuli, and trying to figure out a scene. I feel really productive and the conversation that we had are all quality theatre stuffs. Although there are parts that we got carried away either by songs or by some random irrelevant ideas that popped into our minds, we can still keep our discussion in shape. That, I say is a huge improvement. And as for the director’s vision, I did not direct the scene, it was Willjam who did it, but I do have my understanding about the scene. Although it looked quite cheesy with a “man-made” (pun intended) mushroom on stage, but that is necessary from my point of view because, it is hard to perform the innocence of nature with no props and no beautiful acting skills. Importance of Being Earnest

Jack fell in love with Algernon’s cousin Gwendolyn but his proposal was refused at the first time by her mother Lady Bracknell. Later on is the story between Algernon’s love with Jack’s ward Cecily. The conflict of the plot is when Algernon and Jack both uses the fake name “Earnest” and both ladies all fell in love with this name. Conflict breaks out when the ladies find out that their name isn’t Earnest but both couples were still in love with each other.
